Clemenger BBDO Melbourne named Victoria Transport’s creative agency





Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has been appointed as the creative lead agency of record for the Victorian Department of Transport.

The appointment will see the agency develop communications that will encourage commuters to use public transport, manage messaging for road congestion and disruptions.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne will also develop communications to promote safety for all travelling by road or public transport.

Clemenger’s appointment also encompasses brands such as Public Transport Victoria, VicRoads and Regional Roads Victoria.

The Department of Transport’s acting director of brand and marketing Anne Stout said: “We’re excited to be working with the team at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.”

“Throughout the pitch process, they demonstrated a clear understanding of the Department’s goal to provide simple, safe connected journeys that help people connect to life, and the creativity that will help us communicate that ambition,” she added, as reported by AdNews.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne managing partner, Julian Bell said: “The Department of Transport is more than the sum of its trains, trams, roads and ports.
